Big J

To take photographs means to recognize -- simultaneously and within a fraction of a second -- both the fact itself and the rigorous organization of visually perceived forms that give it meaning. It is putting one's head, one's eye and one's heart on the same axis. -Henri Cartier-Bresson Skee been away, but that doesn't mean heI hasn't been clicking away :-). For The above shot, I used simple lighting from a very large window, at the moment i'm not into complex lighting, I find keeping the lighting as simple as possible suits my current style, which hopefully tends to lay more on the character of my subjects. I've just bought a new camera, which I aim to use for my blogging and everyday use. It's a Canon powershot G9, which is IMHO the best point n shoot camera at the moment available. I shall start posting shots using the G9 from next week, i've already taken afew (NOT THE ABOVE PIC) and i'm well impressed. So get ready Skeetown has got plenty cooking in the next few weeks. Hope to see you all back!
