"Comb-fu": The art of the comb

C'mon, you all know that you like my style, you know that you like my style, you know that you like my style, you know that you like my style, lol.

A photographers work is given shape and style by his personal vision. It is not simply technique, but the way he looks at life and the world around him. -Pete Turner

I had a busy weekend covering a few events and many fabulous pictures to show :-) but unfortunately not on my blog. I have been recently revisiting old techniques that I used to use a couple of years ago: shooting with a very shallow dof, which can produce as seen above very dramatic results.

Using the canon ef 85mm f1.2L is a luxury:-) but it does take some getting use too. I have repaired my 50mm f1.4, boy have I missed using it. Anyway, welcome back to Skeetown... it's going to be H.O.T.T. this week so watchout... cos here in "ST" summer never ends :-)

Skee yep like ya style. is your processing IP on this secret squirell or is it public domain. My font knowledge is poor these days so i'm gonna need to know that as well.
Mr Skee: Thanks Nev. I have thousands of fonts at my disposal though I only seem to use just afew these days as they, like most things, they come in and out of season. I however still acquire new fonts for design jobs that I do. One of my favourite sites is www.myfonts.com, where I buy (Cheap too) most of my current stock.

There are also many free font sites around... and cheesy fonts too, so stay away from the cheese lol.

On the processing tip, stay tuned, writing tutorials (Snail's pace) lol

sorry mr skee i meant to say what font face is it. is it a windows ttf.
Mr Skee: The font fmily is "Helvetica Neue" and I used a condensed variant. It's a mac font, I'm not sure if a open type or a win font exists...probably does.

Try also "Gils sans" its almost the same.
