"ROOM FOR ONE MORE"

All the technique in the world doesn't compensate for the inability to notice. -Elliott Erwitt, "Master Photographers – The World's Great Photographers on their Art and Technique"

THE RETURN

"Sometimes I find taking a break from blogging  necessary".

So what's been going on while little ol' Skee has been away? Lol …

About today's pic: "ROOM FOR ONE MORE"

This photo was shot on the weekend in Hyde park, London, while I was walking through the park with Alakija and my brother. The three of us armed with our cameras of course, after all, how else would you stroll through a park? Hehehe!

This was one of the few shots that I took that I actually like. Alakija took an awesome shot of the Roller bladers hopefully he will put it up this week, if not today even.

Working myself into a position of total versatility, so that I can do anything I want to do at the time I want to do it. Whether I do it or not is another question. -Elliott Erwitt

lovely silhouette. the bird in flight makes it for me.
Mr Skee: Yup...and "There's still room for one more", thanks Nev
hey skee,

welcome back man. i love the perspective of this shot. the conversion to sepia really works so well, particularly with the cloud formation. totally agree with nev...amazing capture of the bird in flight...particularly with the still birds sitting right next to it. nice.

The contrast is awesome! I like the concept for "room for one more". Different and unique.
Great work matie....next time teach the birdie how to land.
atunning picture (especially the back ground). Bird on the right looks like it's going to "crash" (i'm sure it landed ok).

Dramatic & mysterious, Skee! Perfect capture with the bird in flight & that sky is ace.

This is quite simple yet so stunning. You are a craftsman sir. Not only the content but the presentation too.

I can imagine a photo like this trying to convey a coporate message in the corridors of big business. I hope that doesn't sound like a criticism!

Hey Master S, I feel qualified in commenting that the "dynamic" of the perfectly crisp bird landing adds the required drama to this really beautifully captured scene, great tone in this almost duotone image. Mal
Mr Skee: thank Mai.... i took a short break, I'm back now

Quite dramatic skee ... Well done
This is fantastic. I can almost hear dramatic music when I look at it. Give me a moment and I'll figure out the soundtrack... wink
