Over the next few days... something different here in skeetown. Skee loves to be different, creativity sadly belongs to afew, after all, if we were all "creative", then there would be no one "creative". makes sense doesn't it... now were's my "SUPER-SUIT" lol.

During the carnival, ( at this point, if you haven't seen any of my carnival shots pls take your left hand raise it high and give yourself a good slap on the left cheek, ask for forgiveness and quickly go check...it's okay...no ones looking ;-) ) I was surprised to see that dispite the fact it had just rained and there where beautiful puddles everywhere, which meant beautiful reflections, most photographs were looking up not down.

Once I took one photo like this, I was hooked, as I saw the potential for many great shots. I think I even got afew ;-)

This series, titled, "Carnival Reflections", is about seeing something in nothing, or as George W. Bush, would say it's about, unknown unknowns, the things we don't know we don't know!

Often I leave comments on peeps blogs, like "Nice but boring", and thats the naked truth, we all have the ability to look at things from a different prospective, but how many of us do?

I know it's monday, early during the week, and Skee's hard hitting, but we are now in the last quarter of the year... we all need to step up our game.

Ok, a little insight into how Skee took this shot, I simply found a rather large puddle, lay horizontal on the floor and waited for the subjects to pass by, got alot of smiles, the once in awhile peeps saying "Are you ok?", the floor was hard and rough but as they say... no pain...no fame ;-)

Now where did I keep my Super-Suit...honeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey!

I like different, I like innovations, I like risks, I love grit in getting those images.

I love the framing, I love the concept, I love your comments, but do I love the capture? Sadly my answer here will be No. I know you was working with what you had but for me creates no fire in Subster town. 10/10 marks for the effort though.

On my journeys through peeps' blogs, I have seen many a 'reflection in the puddle' shots, but none was so well presented as this gem. Yeah, Yemi's right - guess the butterflies are diggin' the 'fro! smile
