"36 degrees part 8: me and mum"

So it's another monday, Skee's back, so how was everyone's weekend? Hopefully, you all will through out this week hang around in SkeeLand... good things are coming, if your new to SL, welcome, why not check my archives, if you like something or even hate it :-) be sure to let little ol' skee know about it :-)

The 36 degree series continues today, as  it will throughout this week and as the week runs it's course, we will be heading towards what I call "Skeetopia", "The perfect capture according to skee aka dazzle".

I really hate jpeg convertion as it robs my images of their colour and hence alot of my work is b/w or sepia.

Stay tuned peeps, skee's on a role.

I like this perspective, it's unique. This is a good image.
skee,

i like the perspective in this shot, however i think that either you should have focused more on the plants, or more on the faces. regardless, i really like the colors of the contrast between the plants and the sky.

What's wrong with the colours? They look good to me... Great shot, I like the perspective and composition.
lovely moment.
your pictures always amazing.
i dont see any wrong with the focus like nicole said. the focus clearly at the couple behind the grass. it just perfect i think.
Fantastic.....Skee IS on a role....
I personally hate all or shots skee, can't you come up with something better?

HEHEHE I made this comment myself, why, I don't know, don't care to know either, it will have no effect on my work!

I personal took the time to go through everyone, well almost, blogs these past few days... touchy touchy :-D. Don't let a few silly comments ruin the joys of blogging, not everyone will and should like your work guys, c'mon, it's a free world! I don't like men wearing tight jeans and small tee shirts, but 70% of men in the UK do smile lol

All these policies, and yellow ShMoods etc etc has gotta stop... Skee supports total freedom of speech. If you don't like my work, no biggie, tell me why... as you might be on the way to be influencing me to produce masterpieces in the future.

Oh I LOVE this ! The colours of the sky and the corn / grass work beautifully, and the framing is spot on. I like the out of focus grass too except for the one on the left which is leaving too big an undefined dark "thing" which I don't find adds anything to this great shot so I would have taken that out - other than that, lovely

JPEG is fine for me. Are you using Adobe RGB or sRGB? I've had colour matching problems with it before. But I didn't find that it robs the scene of colour.

Skee has finally lost it, he has flipped, yep the crazy one has gone ever more loopy smile

Yellow shhs mode, red shhs mode, policies and all what nots, Skee, I know in Skeetown you live in a lovely utopia where respect and freedom of speech are perfect, however on planet earth, humans like to given boundaries, if not the rule of law goes thrown out the window and we are left only with chaos.

As to the shot, I am loving it. If you notice I have started to limit comments to basically me liking it or not, what me like & why, when I like I like, when I don't like, why I don't like (if anyone understood that sentence, please stand up smile ), okay the truth is I really do not have the time to go in depth into comments these days, fear not people, I will be back to strike terror into the hearts of many, I have not made anyone one cry/weep etc in a long time. I must be loosing my touch.

Ok, I'm the same as Petra (Idefix) on this. Regarding your colour - if your photoshop image is in AdobeRGB and you save as JPG, the image will look drab. You need to make sure that you convert to sRGB before saving as JPG. Browsers are not ICC aware and expect everything to be sRGB. Save-for-web does not convert to sRGB either, you have to do it yourself. Apologies if you already knew this. Incidentally, I don't see anything wrong with the colours here - nice and vibrant.
