photoblog image "Paris-HipHop"

"Paris-HipHop"

It's tuesday,i've decided to be a little nasty and not put up the picture of the rest of the fam till 2morro as this set of pictures was taken minutes before the family ones.  So here, i'm kind of "Laying the smack down! " Skee-stylee! :-)

Paris-HipHop!

As the HipHop culture ( Music, fashion, slang & dance ) continues to spread rapidly around europe, France is no exception. As when I was in Brussels, this was a common site. These guys have got some funky moves. But to me, there's nothing new under the sun. I didnt see anything that hadn't been tried before, as god as it was. I also think their clothes were way too tight, but, hey....this is europe. :-)

On the upside, the bling-bling culture hasn't yet got outta hand, and too my surprise XL tee shirts were so cheap, as even the "Big guys" wore large lol! I got a real bargin :-)

I was really hoping to meet Sebastien Foucan, the Co-founder of Parkour ( Free Running ) as it's something that i've had interest in for ages.
Maybe next time...

Ok this is the last "Warm up", its gloves off 2morro here in SkeeTown, dont be late!

Wow! This is just now hitting Europe? I remember this from "back in the day", circa 1986, or so! smile Nice composite, Mr. Skee!

Regards,

Paul
Nice collage, Skee. I too am starting to take my gloves off on my blog too. I've got a few in the pipeline that I'm pretty proud of. Do take a gander tomorrow, if you've got the time. Kind regards, Brent P.S. Looking forward to the shots.

The Skeelo on fire as always smile Lovely collage. I for one know shots like these are not easy to capture. You have to capture the right move and at the right moment. These guys move soo fast they do not make it easy for you.

So well done on such lovely images, can't wait to see what you dish up tomorrow.

I'm with Paul on this. I cant believe it took them that long to catch on breakdancing. I was breakdancing when I was in the 3rd grade, I dont do it anymore..but...yeah. Come on France! Get with the program! ;-)

France has been breaking for quite a while, this is more of a second revival. I was there whilst I was in secondary and it was pretty big then. There were/are some really good French MCs!

Love the large one to the left, joinng the \'urban\' scene with an urban vista. Good work!
Still figuring this system out! Post above is from me!
