It's monday, hope you guys had fun without me.... i'm back!
How I just love it when
a plan comes to fruition. The credits of this picture have to go to my
brother & sis ( Pictures of them tomorrow) who after listening to
me explain my technique and show them a couple of examples, they
produced this shot, worthy of a skeetown award- " A prime time monday
blog spot!"
Ok,Ok, skee set the manual settings, and plugged in the "right" ev
values for the flash, but he couldn't press the buttons etc on his own
:-)
Paris was fun, too short for my liking, but still, you definately WILL be Skee-dazzaled this week, for sure!

Liking the shot bro, Kudos to your Bro & Sis. I assume they pressed the shutter at the same time or maybe one took the shot and the other edited it LOL
Anyway, look forward to seeing images of them. Okay Skee dazzle the Subster
Question? I'm sure it's been asked before but c'mon Skee, Subster, Jide and all you other perfectionists. Once and for all, explain in words of one syllable or less for us mere mortals, why setting two values manually (full manual) is better than setting one value manually (e.g. aperture value) and letting hundreds of pounds, thousands even, of electronics and algorithms set the other.
Surely you would only set the other value manually to the same value the camera chooses? If not, what would make you choose a different value from the one suggested by the camera?
