photoblog image "The Portrait guy"

"The Portrait guy"

This was taken on one of my long walks in Brussels.

Here we go, my write up was alittle late today, various factors, but in a way, it all works out for the good, as from the few comments that beat me to the punch, did not in any way influence my judgement or sway O Skee o mighty to change his views :-)

Catching the feeling, the impulse of an environment can be a tricky one, the busy market place, can only be busy?

Here, I've tried to capture the feeling of what it's like to have your portrait taken in such a place.

Again, here I choose a wide angle, why? surely the average snapper-holic would have tried to cut out the crowd, but then, the whole purpose, the "story" so to speak, would have been lost :-)

Skee...I dont mean to follow trends and I try to say something new and constructive..but this shot....maan. Idk. I cannot dig it.

What I like:
-The self portrait of the man

What I dont like:
-I know whats going on in the image, but its too busy.
-The angle!!! GAR. Yesterday's worked. But today, it ruined the shot.

Thats all I got bro. Waiting for tomarrow.

I like it, it feels like I am actually there looking at the square seeing the activity, looking over the man's shoulder to see how good the artist is and looking up to see everything else. I like the fact I can see the portrait and the subject.(He is good)You froze the action at that moment. Clever work.

I like the busy'ness of the shot and it relates the hecticness. I don't like the angle..

When i looked at this shot i immediately was drawn to the main subjects. I was not confused as to what was actually going on.

I looks like something a photojournalist for AP would take.(I put this in a plus because i like those kinds of shots but it could easily also fall under minus)
