As you know, I'm very keen on your portrait work, but for me, although the composition is excellent (I particularly like the expressive hands), it's just a fraction too dark. I'd like to see a little more detail in the face. (I've gone into hiding now - your boys won't find me!)

I have to agree with Chunter on this one, love the expressive hands, looking at the shot I tend to be concentrating more on them than on the face. Come on you have a 5D, work your magic. (okay I am still very jealous your camera is bigger than mine, something I aim to rectify soon smile )

Great shot, but maybe a tad over sharpened. And could stand to be a bit lighter, but still a great capture.

One can see the emotion in his expressive body language. Good timing to catch this one. Composition is great too. I like how you left space for his hands to reach into.

Ya it's darker than I would have liked it, but then it does add to the dramatics. His nose is lit up like a triangle too. I like his pose and the composition. smile
