"Brown girl 2"... More Lessons!

In many ways I mix the old with the new!
I'm too "New" to be called "Old school" and at the same time I embrace fully, the golden concepts of yesterdays masters of the art.

"Skeetown...yup! that's were I belong"

And what's that or where is that you might ask?
Skeetown, firstly is not a place, it's rather a state of creative freedom, in layman's terms... it's my chill out zone :-D

Yesterday's shot! boy! Alot of reactions and comments, I was even likened to a "Genius", how nice, but humbly, I cannot accept that title, I've still got a long long way to go. Thanks anyway :-D

I put this one up today, because I knew that today I needed to go one better!

"Skee-dazzled" Anyone?

The lovely brown tones were achieved through CS2 using the curve tools, the image captured in RAW format and processed and cropped with C1pro, I almost never use adobe s/w to process my RAW files, as I don't believe they have yet got this end completely sown up at the moment.

Apart from that, my work lies heavily on the basic light and shade principles and tight compositions. I guess being an artist and graphic designer helps as well, just alittle anyway :-D

Photoshop to me is just a tool, yes I use it, but I don't take a shot and aim to use photoshop to correct it,  to enhance yes but never to over power.

The Skeeeeeee, whats up, where do I start? Okay this will be adequate
(screams out)..... I LIKEY LIKEY this shot, darn boy, you done good smile

Okay I know you are in green shhsss mode, but what the hell....

Why does the Subster Likeye so much?

Like duhhhhhhh!!!!! Do I have to point it out? Okay here goes,

Framing tight & spot on.
Lighting is a dream.
Brown tones, oohhh soo nice(love the sepia)
Model pose? Inspired, hair draping forward adds to the character of the shot.
Beautiful smile
Skin tone, a lesser prosumer would have been tempted to toch this up, but not the Skee, this only helps to add that lovely word, "Character" to the image.

coup de grâce, the eyes my fellow viewers. Ahhh the eyes, the doorway into our souls. Very honest, comfortable, fun loving eyes.

Am I Skee-dazzled"? You darned sure I am.

For that Mr Skee, I tip my virtual hat of to you sir.

The Subster.
