"Something to sing about"

THE JOURNEY CONTINUES...

Finally, Mr Skee moves to shutterchance!

Over the next couple of days, I will be showcasing another branch of my photography, Concerts and stage performances.

If your like me and don't really mind standing infront of thousands of people,  jumping on and off of stages then this type of photography you will find quite interesting.

Earlier this year I actually fell off a stage backwards, and kept on clicking away from on the floor... the pain came a couple of days later ;-)

Anyway, unlike the lady in the picture above, unfortunately...I can't sing, but if I could, I would definately have..."Something to sing about!"

Hey Mr Skee! So glad to see you finally made it over to Shutterchance. A warm welcome, it's like family *sob*... Ok, enough of that, now on to your photo.

I think you've made a strong opening of your photoblog with this shot. I've always been a fan of your concert work. This one is no different. And ISO 1600! Dang!

Finally, you have decided to join the dark side smile

Concert and stage shots are always the hardest to take cause the lighting is always pants, hope you did not break anything in the fall (but I would have loved to see it happen smile )

Suby.

P.s
Can I have your 5D? smile

Intriguing "something to sing about" !!! indeed.
Ow! sounds like we have something in common. but my problem is being too short. I digress.
Lovely shot! Backlight and profile are divine.
It has made me happy. And now i listen to Ah-ha in celebration.

i've always loved shots like these. nice one. did u do any post-processing, other than the typical cropping, tweaking tonal curves and stuff?
Mr Skee: No, I really try not to.
